The annual Ladies’ Invitational concluded with the team of Lois Clarke claiming the title for the 4th time in the past 5 years. Her team included Peggy Carter, Carole Fuller, and Lynna Rader, who shot a scramble score of 61 to take this year’s prize.
Tom Guinn curled in a tricky, downhill 10-foot putt to win the Men’s Invitational as he and partner Robby Tipton each took home the Caddy Shack trophy.
The annual Member-Member Tournament ended with Morgan Clifton and Ervin Stiltner claiming the title in dramatic fashion. The duo outlasted a field of 52 players, including three other determined teams in a Shootout, to take home the title.
The 17th annual Blue-Gray Tournament ended with the Blue team reclaiming the title after a one-year hiatus. The finish provided tremendous drama, as the outcome came down to the very last match before things were decided, culminating in a 46 ½ – 45 ½ Blue triumph.
