History at the Arrival
Caddy Shack
This quaint log cabin is one of the first landmarks members encounter upon arrival. It was built using logs from the Stout home place—the oldest building in Washington County, Virginia—and serves as the home of the Caddy Master and caddie corps.
Reconstructed in 2020 by Barnwood Builders and Burwil Construction, the structure preserves an important piece of the property’s history while remaining central to the modern golf experience.
The Heart of the Club
Clubhouse
Patterned after Castle Hill, a historic Charlottesville residence built more than two centuries ago, the Clubhouse combines stately architecture with warm woods, rich textures and Southern hospitality.
Set on the site of the property’s original 1700s home, it serves as the center of club life and is home to dining rooms, the Golf Shop, boardroom, wine cellar, locker rooms and golf operations.
Private Group Lodging
Cottages
Three beautifully furnished cottages are named for golf’s iconic Big Three: Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player. Each includes a dramatic shared living room and six guest bedrooms.
The Nicklaus and Palmer Cottages feature two queen beds and two private bathrooms in every room. The Player Cottage offers one king bed and two private bathrooms in each room for added privacy and space.

The Lodge
The Lodge combines elegant event space and overnight accommodations around a striking two-story glass atrium. Expansive doors open to landscape views, while common areas, a full kitchen and a rocking-chair porch provide relaxed places to gather.
Its location beside the Pavilion makes the two venues especially effective for weddings, reunions, retreats and tournament weekends.
A Mid-Round Tradition
Long Barn
Once a working tobacco barn, the restored Long Barn now serves as a refreshment and convenience stop for golfers. It offers a welcoming place to pick up food and beverages, regroup during the round or wait out a passing rain shower.
Nearby practice areas allow players to continue working on putting and iron shots while enjoying one of the property’s most distinctive historic structures.
Rustic, Refined & Memorable
Party Barn
A favorite setting for weddings, tournament banquets, parties and corporate gatherings, the Party Barn blends the authenticity of a restored farm structure with the service and cuisine expected throughout The Olde Farm.
Its generous interior and sweeping views make it equally suited for relaxed celebrations and carefully planned large-group events.
Open-Air Entertaining
Pavilion
The Pavilion offers a covered dining area, horseshoe-shaped bar, dance floor, exhibition kitchen, double-sided fireplace, open patio and fire pit—all designed for effortless open-air entertaining.
Used primarily from late spring through late fall, it accommodates 175 seated dinner guests and can expand onto the adjacent Lodge lawn with tenting for significantly larger events.
