CLUB POLICIES

GOLF

  • Tee times are not permitted.
  • All guests must be accompanied by a member during golf, although some unaccompanied guest play will be allowed on a limited basis. Unaccompanied guests must be sponsored by a member and time coordinated through the Golf Professional.
  • Cash, credit cards or a member account will be accepted in the Golf Shop.
  • When available, caddies and forecaddies must accompany members and their guests.
  • Walking is permitted anytime with a caddie or a member may carry their bag after 3 pm.
  • The minimum fee a caddie is to receive for his/her services is $160 from the group.
  • Members are reminded that gratuities for caddies and bag drop personnel are a significant part of their compensation and necessary to retain the appropriate complement of service staff.
  • The use of cellular phones is not permitted on the golf course.
  • Cigarettes and cigars may be smoked on the golf course; however, members and their guests are required to dispose of the remains by placing them in the trash can.
  • Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Playing music on your phone or through a speaker is not permitted.

 

FOOD & BEVERAGE

  • All guests must be accompanied by a member or member’s spouse during dining unless staying as a cottage guest.
  • A service charge of 20% is automatically added to applicable food & beverage charges. If you feel your server did an excellent job you are welcome to add an additional voluntary tip that will go directly to your server. Restaurant charges may be applied to credit cards or a member account.
  • Smoking inside the Clubhouse, Party Barn, Long Barn, Cottages, and The Lodge is not permitted. Designated smoking areas are non-dining porches.
  • Members and their guests may use the phone booth in the Clubhouse for placing or taking cell phone calls. Text messaging and emails are permitted with phone on vibrate.
  • To-go Food & Beverage purchases as well as off-premise wine sales do not count towards annual spending credit, i.e., pick-up orders or wine.

 

ATTIRE

  • Blazers for men are required during dinner in the Parlor; although, golf attire and denim are permitted in the main dining room and porches.
  • Further Acknowledgement:
    • Hats, caps, and visors are not permitted in the Food & Beverage service areas.
    • Denim must be well kept and in a dark shade.
    • Collared shirts are required, shirttails must be tucked in.
    • Cargo shorts, flip-flops, te­nnis shoes, t-shirts, and workout apparel are considered inappropriate while at The Olde Farm.

 

PETS

  • Pets are not permitted anywhere on property.

 

CANCELLATION POLICIES

To better prepare and serve your needs for overnight accommodations, dining reservations, and events, the following will apply to all reservations.  Please understand that we purchase and schedule based on upcoming reservations. In addition, there are times when we are at capacity and we want to be able to take care of members who may be on a waiting list.

 

At the Club’s discretion, fees may be adjusted due to cancellation relating to emergency situations, reduction in party size, change in length of stay or if the business is rebooked at a later date.

 

DINING

  • A La Carte Dining: 24 hour Advance Notice or $25 fee per person.
  • Club Event: 48 hour Advance Notice or $50 fee per person.
  • No Call/No Show: $50 fee per person.

 

ACCOMODATIONS

  • Overnight Accommodations: No penalty with 2 weeks’ notice.
  • Inside of 2 weeks’: 50% of total room charges.
  • Week of: 75% of total room charges.

 

COTTAGE & LODGE

  • Reservations may be cancelled without a penalty by giving a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice prior to scheduled arrival date. Review your confirmation carefully.
  • For cancellations inside the 2 weeks, you will be responsible for 50% of the total room charges. For cancellations the week of, you will be responsible for 75% of the total room charges.
  • Our facilities are booked by the room. At times, you may be sharing the common space with other members. If you prefer total privacy, you have the option to pay for all unused rooms at the standard rate.
  • There is an additional $50 per night for Unaccompanied Guests.

 

PRIVATE DINNERS & EVENTS

  • Cancellation of a major tournament or event within 2 weeks will result in penalty up to 50% of the estimated total. If cancelled the week of, you will be responsible for 75% of estimated total.
  • The cancellation fee correlates with loss of business as well as costs the club has incurred.
